Camplace.com Celebrates First Year

LOS ANGELES — Live adult webcam services provider Camplace.com has announced the celebration of the first anniversary since the launch of its site.

Debuting on August 8, 2013, the year-old cam contender has quickly established itself within the live adult entertainment market.

By offering a clean interface that is optimized for mobile devices, Camplace puts the user experience above all, including employing advanced streaming technologies that keep buffering to a minimum.

“There’s nothing more frustrating than having to stop in the middle of a private show,” a spokesperson for Camplace told XBIZ. “Those buffering pauses are like the ‘blue screen’ of camming, and are sometimes enough to set a user off a site or model completely.”

“Camplace aims to offer instant entertainment: no pauses, no breaks,” the spokesperson adds. “That’s why we think it’s crucial to never skimp when it comes to the software and technologies we use.”

Camplace credits a large part of its success to its models and is always seeking new performers to add to its roster, noting that models are attracted to the platform due to the high earnings potential it offers.

“It’s important to us to present the best experiences possible for both our users and our models. This is why we carefully select all of our features to represent both sides equally,” explains the spokesperson, noting that the company offers monthly contests rewarding its most resourceful models. “It’s the kind of incentive a service provider needs to offer [in order] to provide the best of shows, and our users love the performances that come out of it.”

For example, the site hosts a monthly “Miss Camplace” contest, comprised of several categories, where a model can win anywhere from $100 to $500 for each category, depending upon their ranking in that particular group. The title of Miss Camplace is awarded to the model earning the most rewards in total — with one Miss Camplace reportedly winning $4,500 so far from these contests.

The spokesperson explains that some of the contest categories, such as “Highest Monthly Single Tip,” are pretty straight-forward, while others use more complex equations to calculate the winner.

“We use this system because our models excel at different types of shows, and this way we’re providing an incentive for all of them,” the Camplace spokesperson told XBIZ. “[The contests] provide a dose of healthy competition, and it really motivates the models to put on great performances.”

In addition to its live shows, Camplace members receive access to their favorite model’s performances and photo galleries, even when she is offline, via recorded live sessions that users can enjoy any time.

For an added “personal touch,” members can also purchase their favorite model’s panties.
